Trend: High-water Pants

Janelle Monae has a trademark look; crazy hair, preppy oxford shoes and high-water pants. I love that she has and continues to keep up with her look.  Most of the time it looks as if she wears the same outfit everyday.

A good thing about making high-waters a trend is that if your pants are really short on accident, whether it be because of skrinking or just plain outgrowth, you can play it off. Tip; exaggeration it by cuffing so people will know that you meant to do the high-water on purpose.
