Clothing Line: Chanel Pre-Fall 2012

 I don't normally write about fashion shows before fashion week, but for the Chanel show I dared to step out. 

 I'm so glad that for this upcoming season Chanel looked in a different different for inspiration. At the same time you know Chanel had to stick to the tried and true staple look of the brand.

  Lagerfeld's Indian inspiration is very obvious in outfit structure when it comes traditional garb but the only major difference that he made was the color palette. You will not rarely see a Chanel line with a vibrant, loud range of hues and I'm glad that the brand was still channeled it's timeless quality.

Chanel Exhibit at Mint Museum Charlotte

Here is a great find for die-hard fashion gurus here in Charlotte. NC. I wasn't aware of the exhibit was here since it's not that big. The Mint probably only have about 15 dresses a case of accessories. It was still pretty cool to getting to see real vintage Chanel in person. 

Most of these pieces here are the exhibit are coming from the late 1970's. Karl Lagerfeld wasn't appointed head designer of the House of Chanel until 1983.
