News: Dolce & Gabbana Closes The D&G Line

Today Dolce & Gabbana showed their LAST S/S 2012 D&G line in Milan today. 

The line consisted of many outfits that looked like were made out of colorful silk scarves. The combinations of the many different colors were very loud along with the silk scarf heels. 

After the show Domenico and Stefano announced they are ending the D&G line to focus solely on one. Their won't be the separation between D&G and Dolce and Gabbana anymore. You will only have to look for 'Dolce and Gabbana'.

I could understand how much less work this will be on them both to design two separate lines each season. No word on if any major changes would occur in their style.

Runway Looks : D&G Spring/Summer 2008

I love Domenico Dolce and Steffano Gabannas Spring (D&G) 2008 line MUCH better than the 2009 one. This years pieces are more funkier. The main colors used are tan, gold, black and white. There are lots of tight pants and sandals--I'm not a big fan of those though.  

I don't follow runway shows for trends because they don't always pick up with the rest of the world, but I have seen the trademark sneakers worn by lots of celebrities and in magazines. I actually want a pair myself!
