Recent Purchase: Louis Vuitton Speedy 40

So today I got my first Louis Vuitton Speedy 40 bag [$825]. No, it wasn't my birthday I just finally had the extra cash needed to finally fork over.

Being a smart cookie, I called ahead to have them hold the bag I wanted, Speedy 40 Monogram, before I even went to the store. I found out from one of the sales associates that the Speedy 40 is very popular and is always sold out. 

I demanded for it to be put in a box. How else was I supposed to carry it home? Not in my hands of course.

I was also informed that the Hot Stamping service that I've always been wanting as well is complementary.

Artist Billie Achilleos has worked with Louis Vuitton again to design adorable one of a kind animal sculptures completely out of small monogram printed handbag for the opening of the Sydney, Australia's store. 

We first looked at his work here when he was commissioned by Louis Vuitton to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the SLG Savoir Faire Collection.

The Lockit and Lockit Voyage bag [$3450, $6100] come completely covered in 100% sheepskin on trimmings, handles and key pulls while the inside it is covered completely with calfskin.

News: Louis Vuitton Island Opens In Singapore

September 18, 2011, Louis Vuitton has opened it's 12th Island Maison store in Singapore to supply the needs of high-end retail in that area. The Island Maison it located on the waterfront of the Marina Bay promenade.

Visitors can visit the island by bridge, boat or and from the Marina Bay Sans mall via tunnel. Louis Vuitton Island also has a bookstore and art exhibit to view while your there.

This store has to be a tourist destination in itself for anyone who loves Louis Vuitton.

Line: Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 Menswear

I usually don't like looking at Louis Vuitton RTW lines because their clothes just appear boring which is sad since they are one of the top fashion houses in the world! I usually can say that their clothes are not 'different'. This season on the other hand gives me a new vibe that I am liking. 

The cuffed pants and the oversized-scarfs are things that the average person can try. Yes, it's not innovative like I like, but it's just so cohesive that this needs to be talked about. This entire just looked sophisticated and approachable over-all.

Recent Purchase: Louis Vuitton Insolite Wallet

Early Birthday gift I got from my boyfriend! Anything from Louis Vuitton always makes a great gift. 

I had lost my old Coach wallet on my way back home from NYC so it's time for a replacement.

I love everything about the Insolite; it has plenty of pockets and card slots. This is a good wallet for me because I like to store little papers, receipts and notes so it doubles well for a great organizer.

News: Introducing The Speedy Bandouliere

Louis Vuitton has answered some prayers ladies and gentlemen! They have released a new Speedy bag design with a shoulder strap to relieve carrying with your hands. 

I own the Speedy 40 and it can get really heavy when it's full to capacity. Now the Bandouliere allows the functionality of a purse but now the ease of a messenger bag. 

This bag does not have the two tabs as the previous Speedy had at the end of the zipper track, but instead  brass hooks for the included leather strap. A cool thing added on as well is an additional zipper.
