making skinny pants_before & after

I really want to buy some skinny pants for work, but I am not willing to dish out $60 for them, I'm on a tight budget...I already have a pair of skinny JEANS that I got from Hot Topic, but as a Starbucks employee, we are not allowed to wear jeans. But the pants that I currently wear are pictured above.

I'm taking my pants to my favorite little Alteration shop near my school. The "after" pictures will be available in about a week from now, so keep your eyes open! The cost to get a regular pair of pants made skinny are only about $25 depending on your tailor.

sneaker alert_asic's wrestling shoes

A relatively cheap pair of sneakers that you can check out are Acic's wrestling shoes. The one's I'm checking out are the Men's Cael V2.0. They are available on Eastbay's website for only $50.

These shoes would be best worn with skinny or straight leg jeans. I definitely want a pair, but need to go try them on in a store first.

Tip: How To Quickly Gauge Without The Pain

I love the look of gauged earrings. On the other hand, I do not want to endure the pain of stretching my ear hole. I also don't want to be limited to just gauged earrings if I were to get them. What if I wanna wear diamond studs one day?? Well that's why there are fake gauges available! You can have the look of your ear gauged, but keep your ears there regular size.

There are all types of designs if you do not like this tapered look.

Here is a site where you can purchase some.

wegetDRESSED Daily: The Bronx 1981

I was reading the Weekend Arts Section in the New York Times and this photo captured my attention. It is a piece taken from the "Street Art Street Life" exhibit at the Bronx Museum of the Arts.

I love how fashion has evolved from the 80's, and how at the same time we like to take pieces of the past and make them present.

Also please not guys; DO NOT purchase jeans from Hot Topic and the Social Collision collection. Their prices are low for a reason.

tip_do you take forever to get [dressed]?

Does it take you 2 hours in the mornings to get [dressed]?
If that's the case, than you have a problem. Sorry to offend.

I believe that one should put together there outfits the night before and have them ironed and layed out, ready to go for the next day. Do not waste time by standing in front of your opened closet rummaging through shirts. You could be doing so much other cool stuff instead of just standing there.

I must admit that yes, I did suffer from this issue, but I'm good now.

Trend: Fitted Oxfords

As usual, I was browsing the Gap website and seen than they have new fitted oxfords. I knew that they had a classic slim fit. The classic slim fit was not fitted enough for me and that was why I never bought them. But now that they have new ones that are suppose to be slimmer, I'm seriously going to purchase some. I am all about slim these days. But don't get me wrong, you don't want tight lol. Make sure you can take deep breaths in your shirt that your buying lol.

CORRECT WAY

WRONG WAY
I just hate the men who wear there grandpa's oxfords that are so billowy and saggy. They are not flattering on men at all. The reason why they are not flattering is because there is just too much excess fabric.

It is time for ALL men to upgrade! No exceptions. I don't care how old you are, or what position you hold.

worst [dressed]_bill kaultz

I'm all for and support the rock star attire, but there are lines that you mustn't cross in order to not look like your getting dressed for a costume party.

All Bill has to do is tame the mane...

recent purchase_man bag

I told everyone that I needed a new bag to carry my books in for school because I was starting college this year. So I have been on the prowl for one for a long time now. The picture above is the bag that I got from Ross

The bag is perfect, it only cost me $25.00!! Isn't that insane??? My bag could totally pass for an expensive designer bag! You can see more pictures of my bag by clicking here. But for the guys out there who may want to know if your store has this bag in-stock, you must go there and see. Ross unfortunately doesn't sale there merchandise online, so good luck with finding it.
Sound Off.
